Cathryn Thomas has spent her life working in the arts. She has been an orchestral musician in Tulsa for over 30 years and has a Master’s degree in music performance. She is a flutist with the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra, Signature Symphony, Light Opera Oklahoma Orchestra, plays school concerts with the Council Oak Woodwind Trio, teaches flute and piano lessons, and has taught music classes at Tulsa Community College. She is the mother of three grown children. Cathryn has been making things all her life, and for years has taken classes in ceramics, drawing and painting at Tulsa Community College. She recently began work on a Master of Fine Arts degree in ceramics at the University of Tulsa. Her ceramic work has been shown in several local art festivals and galleries.
